Nazi Euthanasia
An exhibition remembers nazi euthanasia victims in Vienna.
At the former Heil- und Pfelegeanstalt "Am Spiegelgrund" (now Otto Wagner Spital for mental diseases) in Vienna. During the nazi regime , disabled children were brought here for experiments and extermination. Even after 1945 the remains of many victims remained in the anatomical collection of the hospital, with doctors, that were involved in their killings, using them for research puposes. In April 2002 the remains of the nazi victims were laid to rest at the Vienna central cemetery. Today an exhibition commemorates the victims of the nazis atrocities.
